Super 8 By Wyndham Morris Hotel

The room had a nice tv. The carpet felt reasonably clean. The overall cleanliness left much to be desired. The shower curtain had mold, and the bathroom faucet leaked, frustrating. The ice machine did not work, and the heating system barely kept the room warm. I was disappointed with the musty smell lingering in the hallways. Despite these issues, it was easy to get to my room from the parking area.

The hotel had a central position adjacent to a nice-looking commercial area that is brightly lit, multiple coupler overloading outlet, and restaurant for breakfast. The stuff I encountered where absolutely friendly...

Nothings.

Its location close to everything is convenient.

The breakfast waffles were surprisingly good and a nice treat .

I noticed that some areas felt a bit outdated, which could use refreshing.

It has spotless clean rooms, that come with fridge, a bathroom plus hair dryer.

We have been a very satisfied customer staying at the numerous Super 8 when we are traveling cross country with our dog. The hotels are usually clean and you would never know a dog slept there.just to report, we were in Morris IL on April 16,2021, we made reservations with our dog. Asked to see the room first, passed 3 opened doors ( to closets) loads of dirty sheets were rolled up in them. Went to the room, smelled so bad, dark, and dirty looking. I said the room smells bad. Clerk said what do you expect, a dog slept here. We left!!!

We left after we were shown the room! We hope they get inspected and clean up their act.

Unexpected challenges with a smile

The room was conveniently located near the exit. I appreciated the simplicity despite some quirks.

It was disappointing to find that the shower curtain had visible mold was good. The check-in process was also longer than expected.

All fine, but dirty kitchen

With three teenagers, finding an affordable place was key, accommodating us with a room on the first floor for easy access.

My kids wished for more breakfast options.

Had a blast with friends here! We enjoyed hiking and fishing at Goose Lake Prairie State Natural Area, and the nearby Nettle Creek Country Club was a great spot to unwind. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The only downside was that some areas felt a bit outdated, which took away from the overall vibe.

I stayed in a Queen Room, Smoking for 1 night. The bedding had stains, pretty gross. On the bright side, the window was large, letting in a lot of light, and the carpet felt clean enough. Just wished the bathroom was in better shape since the shower curtain had visible mold. Not the best experience, but it did the job for a quick stop.

It was just a fitting option for a break on a long journey in Morris with good value. The breakfast waffles were surprisingly good and a nice treat. Check for the noise levels at night, especially near parking areas.

The room was spacious and the AC was chilly, perfect for a quick crash.

I had a recent stay that was a mixed bag. the cleanliness was questionable, but I appreciated the coffee options and the effort for breakfast choices, even if they fell short.
